COMMUNICATION EVOLVED

Nothing cant work in the absence of communication. Flowers must communicate with bees in order for pollination to be successful. Lions on a cooperative hunt must communicate with each other about how they will attack their prey. A human infant must communication with its parents so that the needs of both are met. Computer programmers must design softwere to communicate with their hardware….
We are living in communication world. We have to communicate our jobs, friends, technology, tools vs vs vs . But first of all we must learn how to communicate with everyone. everything. Also we must understand to which way do we prefer?:) we mustn’t use fog communication. Windows live messenger is the most useful tool I have ever seen ☺)

Graham Bell invented telephone for his girlfriend Allessandro Lolita Oswaldo. So we say alo when open the telephone. I think he is loyal person. World is changing :):)  with developing technology, people started to use voice mail. We must use voice mail carefully because It can be harmful :)

Games had been developed firstly for people to have a good time and relax, but as they began to make them more realistic within the course of time, they began to go away from this motto. In this video, children who is addicted to game, break his computer. because of he can't log on his game. People, absorbed in the imaginary world which seems like real thanks to the advancements of the technology, has began to resemble schizophrenic Deborah in Joanne Greenberg’s novel ‘I Never Promised You a Rose Garden’(in this novel, Deborah’s hallucinations between her made up world and the real world are recounted).(originally quoted from my Assignment3.) i want to share my opinion. What do you think about it friends?
Every people use Atm for Withdrawal but atm is a human made machine and of course it can be out of order. They are; out of paper, lost internet connection, lack of money or system bug vs vs vs. If Atm is out of order, HOLY Repairers will use their magic hands. Atm is working again :) I dont want to think about people can be penniless although they have money in their accounts

Internet Memes -2

Another simile for the internet memes may be writings in public toilets. I don't know if it's still famous in today's culture but the sentence "Bunu yazan tosun, okuyana kosun" was once a pretty big hit. Birthplaces of internet memes are usually referred as toilets, sewers etc. and the biggest difference between them and the public toilets in real life, is their traffic, and reach. Hyperlinking a public toilet door is not that easy, but it is easy in the virtual world.

Internet memes are also self oscillating, and their existance is completely evolutionary. They are not simply icons, but more liek common values for some people. Or like slangs. Here's a video showing some versions of another famous internet meme, the dramatic chipmunk (praire dog)

Even the term meme itself is an evolutionary term, first introduced by Richard Dawkins in his book "The Selfish Gene" This following movie is somewhat educative about origins and causes of the memes:

Lastly, I believe internet memes are also exemplary in primitive human communication, bear similarities with story tellers, and are valid examples in networked narration.

In the hectic world of internet memes, knowyourmeme can keep you up to date about the next big thing in the interwebz.

Whistle languages

As we have learned in the class, forms of communication are usually born out of neccessities. Whistle languages are a form of oral communication, and are probably born due to living in communities spread over a wide area. It is used in some regions of Black Sea Turkey, most famously Kuşköy-Giresun. The distance from neighbour to neighbour can easily be over a kilometer and distance between people who need to communicate can be over 5-6 kilometers because of the mountain terrain and working in huge hazelnut and tea hedges.

Following example is Silbo, a whistle language from Spain. This language is currently obligatory in local schools, and now is taught to people via internet. Interesting isn't it?

Also, here's a video of Kuşköy whistle language:

Telephone History

Telephone is one of the milestones in human communication history. Even though the technology evolved further we still use similar technology for telephone and internet usage. Here are some videos about and from the infant era of telephone.

This first one is a short public information film (or essentially an ad for bell telephone company) regarding telephone usage that was shown in theaters prior to movies.

This second one is a more extended one, it includes direct dialing (as opposed to immediate connection to an operator) , dialing operator, using a telephone directory. There is no voiceover in the movie, don't interfere with the settings of your receiver. :

This third one is about the female operators coming to widespread use, which is still very early telephone history. There is also a full blown documentary movie about this subject named "The Phantom of the Operator" which is a recommended movie if you can manage to find it:
