Douglas Engelbart - The Demo

OK, let me start by posting a movie. Next class we are going to talk about the history of the computer so to complement the discussion here is a video of Douglas Engelbart (More about him in class or just Google if you can't wait) giving a demo of the first mouse in 1968. Now go and find other neat historical and/or futuristic examples...

So How is this Supposed to Work

It works by people posting stuff! As simple as that. You can engage in discussions but you do not necessarily have to respond to previous posts, you can simply post stuff that is relevant to the class whether its comments or observations, links to interesting articles, sites, youTube videos, etc. We are covering a broad spectrum of things and therefore there is no end of resources and materials you can bring up on a daily basis.

So how is this blog supposed to work?
More like a discussion board I suppose?
